Hi!

I'm Nina Oak.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, and creativity has always been a part of my life. I always wanted to be an artist, but there were no art courses in my city. So, I studied Fashion Design at the Federal University of Ceará and did postgraduate studies in Art Teaching Methodology at the State University of Ceará. I taught Drawing for several years in the Fashion Design course at the Federal University of Ceará.

I worked for a few years in the clothing industry, but my growing dissatisfaction with the negative impact of fast fashion on the environment led me to pursue other professional paths. When my daughter was born, I created a children's clothing studio with a "slow fashion" approach, which sparked my interest in children's illustration. Then, I decided to dedicate myself more and more to developing my own style and my own exclusive characters and prints. 

My illustrations reflect my love for nature and art. I am passionate about classical ballet. As a child, I studied ballet, but I couldn't continue dancing because I had scoliosis. Many years later, I started doing ballet again for fun and began incorporating my love of dance into my illustrations. My greatest inspiration is my daughter Julia, who also studies ballet.
